- Description: At the end of the nineteenth century, Harold and Hattie McIlrath completed a world tour by bicycle sponsored by the Chicago daily "Inter Ocean". Departing from Chicago on April 10, 1895, they covered 28,000 miles in three years: Hattie became one of the first women to accomplish the feat (the first woman appears to have been Annie Londonderry). As her husband wrote: "When I consented to the plan of going around the world, I intended to make the trip alone, but my wife pleaded so hard to accompany me that I finally concluded to take her. She is a brave little girl, and rather than considering her a burden, I now look upon her as having been of great help to me on our memorable voyage. Aside from the fact that she is an expert wheelwoman, she is also an unerring shot. Nerve she possesses in abundance, as all will agree after reading of the adventures which befell us"

- Description: Ewan McGregor, the well-known Scottish actor, has merged his passion for acting with his love for motorcycle travel, becoming famous not only for his film roles but also for his motorcycling adventures. His explorations have been documented in travel TV series that have captured the imaginations of motorcycle and travel enthusiasts worldwide. The most famous series, "Long Way Round" (2004), follows McGregor and his friend Charley Boorman on an epic journey from London to New York, crossing Europe, Asia, and North America. This journey of over 30'000 kilometers tested not only their motorcycle skills but also their physical and mental endurance, facing challenges such as bad weather, rough roads, and navigating through diverse cultures. Following the success of "Long Way Round," McGregor and Boorman embarked on another adventure, "Long Way Down" (2007), traveling from Scotland to South Africa through Europe and Africa. This journey saw them facing new challenges, exploring breathtaking landscapes, and encountering fascinating cultures along the way. More recently, the pair got back in the saddle for "Long Way Up" (2020), a journey from Argentina to Los Angeles, crossing the impressive variety of Latin American landscapes. This time, they chose to travel on electric motorcycles, highlighting a commitment to sustainability and the environment
