- Description: n 1986-'87, Nicolas Vanier covers 7'000 km in the wildest regions of the Rocky Mountains and Alaska, a year and a half journey between Wyoming and the Bering Strait. In the early 1990s, he crosses the Siberian taiga from south to north. In 1999, he accomplishes the journey "Odyssée Blanche": the crossing of the Great North by sled from Skagway (Alaska) to Quebec, for a total of 8'600 km. Between 2005 and 2006, he undertakes the "Siberian Odyssey": the winter crossing of Siberia from Irkutsk to Moscow (8'000 km). These journeys have been translated into literary works and documentaries
