Bill and his dogs started from Nome in October, 1908, on a four years’ globe-trotting jaunt, and has been since trekking eastward, stopping now and then to rest himself and his animal friends and to have a little fun on the way.

Due motociclisti svizzeri, l'ex aviatore Corbond di Friborgo ed il meccanico Maret di Neuchâtel, partiranno il 15 ottobre prossimo da Berna per compiere il giro del mondo in motocicletta. I due arditi sportivi toccheranno i 5 continenti, compresa l'America del Sud, percorrendo una distanza di 135'000 km, di cui 80'000 km in motocicletta. La macchina scelta dai due turisti è una "Allegro" col motore inglese "Villiers", I due motociclisti visiteranno la maggior parte delle colonie svizzere. Il racconto del viaggio, le fotografie o le films saranno pubblicate. Il viaggio durerà due anni e mezzo.
